FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Do you accept direct billing?

If I pay for my massage with a Gift Card can I get an insurance receipt?

Should I TIP my Massage Therapist?

We're working on it!

No. Insurance receipts for Registered Massage Therapy can only be issued to the individual who paid for the treatment. If you receive a massage as a gift - you get to enjoy it, but not claim it.

This is our most commonly asked question!

The short answer is "You are not required or expected to tip your RMT."

At Club Spa about 50% of our clients will choose to add a gratuity for their massage. Whichever side you land on - we appreciate all of our clients and remain neutral on this question of to tip-or not to tip.

Do I need to wear a mask for my treatment?

Will AlumierMD chemical peels cause unsightly redness and peeling?

Short answer - no. But if you've recently been exposed to illness or are more comfortable with one on, then please mask up. If your service provider would prefer you to wear a mask they will let you know. If you'd prefer your RMT or Aesthetician wear a mask - they will happily.

No, your experience will not be quite like Samantha in that Sex and the City episode. Clients sometimes expect to peel throughout the entire treated area, but post-treatment peeling is often similar to peeling after a tan. In some cases, exfoliation occurs on a cellular level and is not apparent to the naked eye. The exfoliation a client will experience varies depending on the peel strength and individual skin profile. AlumierMD chemical peels are light to medium depth, and are formulated to reduce irritation and redness.

What can I expect right after a chemical peel?

The skin is initially tender and more sun-sensitive as the epidermis renews itself. After the peeling takes its course (usually 3-5 days after the treatment), fresh new skin emerges and ingredients in home care products start to work more effectively. You will be given instructions from your skincare professional for pre and post-treatment care. It is very important that you follow these directions to ensure optimal results.

What's a "Flirt Lash"?

Flirt Lash is our version of training wheels for lash extensions. Margarett will apply individual extension lashes to the areas of your lash line that will create the most 'oompf.' Often this is the outer edges creating a cat eye effect. It's half the lashes of a full set, in half the time. Perfect if you've been thinking of trying lash extensions OR you just want a little something extra!
